It's here! After counting down the months through the winter, we finally hit delivery day!We picked-up the camper on Saturday. Took about two hours to do the walk-through with the tech, but he was great. Very friendly and informative. Full of a lot of tips and suggestions, too. Our thanks to Pat (the tech) at Majestic RV in Ham Lake, MN.
Somehow over the winter the shower enclosure cracked. It's covered by warranty and they've ordered the replacement parts, but it was very disappointing when we saw it. We can still use the shower as they taped over the crack so it wouldn't leak. But, this now means finding time to bring it back and have it fixed. Just part of being a RV owner I guess!
Our first stop was the truck stop in Rogers to get it weighed. It was empty and had no water, so we now have a good reference point for how much gear we can pack. Mike had weighed the truck alone earlier, so we now know the tongue weight and axle weights for the trailer and the truck.
The next stop was an open parking lot for a couple of pictures, then home to start setting it up.
Our friends Nancy and Jan stopped by that night to take a look at it. We have trips planned with both of them this summer so they had to check it out. It was fun to sit in there and have a beer, even if it was just parked in front of the house!
