After coffee and fresh assortment of rolls (caramel, cinnamon & apple fritters) from Tobies, we said goodbye to Nancy and Jan and headed down the road with Jan B.

Had a nice drive with a stop and the rest area in Eveleth for lunch. Sure do love being able to just pull over, extend the living room slide, and make lunch in your own kitchen!

We are in site 44 this trip. Just down from site 47 where we've been in the past. I like this one a little better than 47. It's easier to back into, and it's really wooded.

Spent the day on Lake Vermillion today. A co-worker/friend of Tom's has a cabin up here, just off of the lake. She invited us over for a day of boating on the lake. Had a great time just driving around the lake and taking in the sights.

Check out the young fox we saw beside the road on
the way back to camp!

Time to do some kayaking! The park rents kayaks and canoes so Jan rented one today and we headed to the lake. Had a great time paddling around the lake and taking in the beautiful sights up here.

Time to pack up and head home. What a wonderful time we had! It was great to have Jan with us this weekend. She's a lot of fun to be with and is great company.
